Welcome to U15 C Division

Hello Folks

Welcome to U15C

Preliminary C Teams are now posted. We have done our best to balance the teams.

While it may appear balanced on paper, it doesnt always transfer to the ice. So the coaches have agreed that we will be playing a few games, and then may have to make adjustments if the teams are not balanced.

Any questions, send me an email

Thanks

BC Hockey

Saanichton, B.C. - With the adoption of Section 11 – Maltreatment to the Hockey Canada Rulebook, BC Hockey has enclosed below a video and further resources in regard to this matter. We encourage you to share this information with all of your registered teams and participants.

Section 11 – Maltreatment, focuses on recognizing and reporting incidents of maltreatment to enhance the focus on safety and inclusivity for all participants of the game. This new rule includes, but is not limited to, discrimination based on race, ethnic origin, skin colour, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability.

This new addition to the Hockey Canada rulebook brings all forms of maltreatment under one section of the rulebook by providing guidelines for escalating penalties based on the severity of the inappropriate behaviour from players and team officials. To read Section 11 of the Hockey Canada Rulebook in its entirety, click here. Additionally, Hockey Canada has also developed an additional resource for coaches to further explain this rule change and provide examples of the updated rule, available here.

Below you will find a video highlighting Section 11 – Maltreatment in further detail. We encourage every participant to watch this video in full to ensure everyone understands the updated rules.
