2019-20 CMHA Coach Selections
Atom A1: Ryan Campbell
Ryan is now is in his second year at CMHA and first as our Atom A1 coach. Ryan brings a lengthy history of both coaching and development work given his young age. Ryan has coached and done skill development work at other Associations and we are fortunate to have him back with us again this year. Ryan brings a young and passionate voice to our Atom program and the kids are sure to have fun and be challenged at every ice time. With emphasis on personal skill development, Ryan is an excellent choice for Atom A1.
Atom A2: Mark Soares
Mark is new to our Association but needs no introduction as he had an excellent junior career with the Coquitlam Express before moving on to University and then to play pro hockey in Europe. Mark’s playing career was defined by a high level of skill and speed and he wants to share that knowledge at the Atom level as well as with our entire Association as one of our trusted on-ice Service Providers. We are excited to have him in our coaching family and wish him the best in his inaugural season as a head coach at CMHA.

PeeWee A1: Jordan Gould
Jordan is a longstanding coach at CMHA and has coached Atom and PeeWee A1 for many years. You may also know Jordan from his years of providing high quality development to many age groups in the association or from coaching different Spring teams. Jordan is a local teacher and a quality member of our Community. Jordan has great experience of providing a highly competitive and disciplined environment while maintaining a creative and fun hockey program. We are pleased to have Jordan back in the PeeWee program as our A1 coach.
PeeWee A2: Mark Hilker
Mark is heading into his second year as the PWA2 Head coach. Mark and his co-coach Andrew Sinclair have been with us for a number of years as assistant coaches on PWA1 teams and have now proven to be excellent head coaches. This coaching staff has a tremendous passion for developing both hockey players as well as quality young men. Having coached 11-12 year olds for a number of years, they are skilled at meeting the on and off ice challenges of this age group. Parents and kids alike are sure to be challenged and yet completely enjoy the program that these coaches have created for PeeWee A2.

Bantam A1: Ryan Dorohoy
Ryan is entering his first year at CMHA and we are very excited to have him take our Bantam A1 program. Ryan has long been a respected coach around the Lower Mainland and has coached in different Association over the years. He is currently coaching for the BC Blackhawks AAA Spring program. Ryan has a tremendous passion for coaching and for moving his players on to higher levels in the game. His experience and knowledge is evident from the moment he starts talking hockey and his enthusiasm is contagious. We are really looking forward to Ryan’s advances bantam program and we know his players will be in for a season like no other. Ryan will also be called upon to provide development throughout the season and will be offering mentorship to coaches inside the Association. We are very pleased to present Ryan Dorohoy as our Bantam A1 Coach.
Bantam A2: Scott Mcrae
Scott and his staff are coming of the season of a lifetime with their Bantam A2 team. They made it to the finals of the Provincials only to come up short against a strong Kamloops squad. Scott has delivered excellent programs for CMHA over the years and we are grateful that he is coming back for another season with us. Scott and his staff have not only had on ice success but they are firm believers in successfully building athletes with integrity and pride. Their on ice/off ice program is sure to demand the best from their athletes and we look forward to seeing this coaching team do great things again this year. Thank you to Scott and staff for taking our Bantam A2 team for the 2019/20 season.

Midget A1: Mike Rockwood
Mike and his co coach Chris Bond are no strangers to CMHA. They have been a part of many teams together over the years and have had great success with the teams they have had. They are known for their organized and disciplined approach to running a hockey team and the athletes know that they will be held accountable on and off ice when they play for these guys. Feedback from player and parents alike is consistently positive as everyone knows that their leadership, passion and commitment fuel their desire to create the best hockey program possible. We are thrilled to have Mike and Chris coach our Midget A1 team. We look forward to big things from them. Good luck guys.
Midget A2: Dave Liversidge
Dave is a long time BC Hockey facilitator and veteran coach. He no stranger to Midget hockey and has spent years working within this age group. Dave has coached every team we have in Midget over the years and has delivered based on his years of experience, his passion and his believe in equal opportunity for all his players. His open door approach is exactly what kids of Midget age need and Dave and his staff have done excellent work over the years. We are grateful to have Dave back at the helm of our Midget A2 program.
