Fees and Payments

REGISTRATION FEES & PAYMENTS

PLEASE REVIEW THIS PAGE CAREFULLY AS THERE HAVE BEEN A NUMBER OF CHANGES THIS SEASON

Note that your registration is not confirmed until payment is received. Fees must be paid in full by July 31 in order to maintain the early bird pricing.  Fees outstanding beyond July 31 will increase $50.00 and fees outstanding at first skate will be increased again by $50.00.  No player may skate with outstanding fees.  

 

Payments to be made by Credit Card at time of registration or E-transfer to payments@coqmha.org using the password "hockey" 

 

All payments outstanding as of July 31st will be increased by $50 fee.  There will be additional fees for any payments outstanding beyond July 31.

 

There will be no players permitted on the ice until all fees are paid in full or alternate arrangements have been made with the Registrar for financial assistance.  There will be NO exceptions.

Included in each registration fee:

  1. Basic registration fees which cover the season including game jerseys, socks and ice for regularly scheduled games and practises – note: Ice costs were increased again by the City of Coquitlam this season. 

  2. A $10 assessment as a contribution to CMHA Foundation Fund which assists with registration fee payments for families in need;

  3. Development – 10 weeks for Hockey 3/4 and Atom (no credit for missed sessions);

  4. Goalie Clinic – 10 weeks – Hockey 3/4 , Atom and Peewee (no credit for missed sessions);

  5. Coach Mentoring – “C” Coaches Hockey 1 to Peewee;

  6. Team Fee Deposit prepayment which will be deposited into your Team Account at the start of the season. H1 to H4 is $50 p/p, Atom to Juvenile is $100).  Please note that each team will set up their own budget for referees, extra ice, tournaments etc and this prepayment is only start up fund.

FEES

 

Note 1 - All Midget players trying out for Major Midget or Junior camps must provide 2 cheques for registration - one for tryout and one for registration.  Try-out fee is non-refundable except in special medical circumstances

Note 2 - Juvenile player cheques will not be cashed until the evaluations are completed and teams are assigned however cheques must be received prior to evaluations.  Cheques should be post dated to September 15. 

Note 3 – Registered Full Time Goaltenders, Atom A and above who do not make use of any CMHA Goalie Gear may apply a Goalie Registration Rebate of 50% at time of registration.  Please note there will be NO rebates provided after registration. If you are an Atom part time goalie, please register as Goaltender. We will be able to distinguish P/T from F/T by Goalie Rebates.

Note 4 – Rep Evaluations will be beginning with an A1 Camp.  All players who wish to be considered for the A1 team MUST sign up for this phase at time of registration as well as the usual Rep Tryout phase.  There absolutely will be NO opportunity to tryout or play on the A1 team (other than as an affiliate) if the player has not participated in this phase.  ****Rep Tryout Fees are ALL NON-REFUNDABLE

Note 5 – All players wishing to try out for any “A” team must sign up for this at time of registration.  If you wish to be considered for the A1 team you MUST also sign up for the A1 phase at time of registration.  ****Rep Tryout Fees are ALL NON-REFUNDABLE

Note 6 - Summer Camp registration is done at time of season registration or by emailing our Development Coordinator at programs@coqmha.org.  These camps sell out quickly and space is limited so it is recommended you register asap.    There will be a $50.00 administration fee charged for all refunds prior to the first day of camp.  There are no pro-rated fees and there are no refunds after the camp has started. 

 

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Credit Card and E-transfer payments are accepted directly on the online registration page.

Fee Increases

All payments not received by July 31 will be increased by and additional $50.00. 

All payments still outstanding at 1st ice time will be assessed an additional $50.00 fee. 

Any payments not made in full by 1st ice time may void your registration.

If you require financial assistance please see the "Financial Assistance" page or contact the Registrar for options.  CMHA holds the policy that no child should be left out for financial reasons.

TAX RECEIPTS

Please note that tax receipts are emailed at time if posting registration payment.  Please file them for use on your taxes next year

 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Please ensure you read the cancellation and refund policy carefully. There will be NO exceptions. 

Refund amounts are as follows:

  • Prior to August 15th 100% less $50 administration fee

  • August 16th – September 15th  75%

  • September 16th – November 15th 50%

  • There shall be no refund of fees after November 15th of the current season

CMHA membership is rescinded upon refund of registration fees and/or by withdrawal after November 15. 

Subject to Executive decision, prolonged, unexcused absence from team events may be defined as withdrawal from CMHA.    Medical withdrawals/refunds will be determined by written application to the Executive. 


There will be no refund payments provided prior to October 15
