RETURNING PLAYER REGISTRATION

RETURNING PLAYER ONLINE REGISTRATION will OPEN - May 31 at 6:00pm and link will be posted under Returning Player Tab.  Returning player registration will only be available until midnight June 30 after which all registration is taken on a New Player basis.

TRANSFERRING PLAYERS

Players transferring in will be accepted on as a New Player Registration but in the case of a waitlist, will take precedence over a player who is new to hockey.

Players transferring out are to check with the Association they are moving to for their requirements.

Please advise the CMHA Registrar as soon as possible of intent to transfer even if you do not have the forms yet.

NEW PLAYER REGISTRATION

NEW PLAYER REGISTRATION will be available online July 1.  Link will be posted under New Player Registration.  

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR NEW PLAYERS & PLAYERS NEW TO CMHA

 

Respect in Sport for Parents required for all Initiation through Novice and new to CMHA

One parent in each family is required to take this one hour online version of Respect in Sport.  The cost is $12.00.  If you have previously taken Respect in Sport - this requirement is waived.

Please note that this Respect in Sport is NOT the same as the one for coaches/managers and is not sufficient to be a team official.  Both are on the same page so please make sure you select the correct one.

 

RESIDENCY - PROOF OF RESIDENCY WILL BE REQUIRED

In order to comply with the Hockey Canada Residency Rule, CMHA will be completing residency checks just prior to the first evaluation.  You must provide two proofs of residency or you will not be permitted membership to CMHA one of which must a valid drivers license and vehicle registration with your Coquitlam address. Please ensure you have your drivers license / vehicle registration as well as a copy of your hydro/gas bill and/or property tax notice/rental agreement with rental receipts when you come to your first try out session.

FEES & PAYMENTS - Please see the Fees & Payments under Registration tab above.

Jersey Deposits - will be collected by your Team Managers at the beginning of the season.  Please post date them to next year - $400.00 dated April 15.  At the end of the season once the jerseys are returned, the cheques will be shredded.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - Please see the Financial Assistance tab under Registration

CMHA holds the position that NO child should be unable to play due financial restraints and no family should suffer financial hardship in order for their child to play.  CMHA offers a numbers of ways to help - please see the Financial Assistance under Registration tab

Please note that you MUST advise the Registrar that you are applying for grants or late fees may apply. Thank you

There will be no players permitted on the ice until all fees are paid in full or alternate arrangements have been made with the Registrar for financial assistance.  There will be NO exceptions.
