The Coquitlam Express Junior A Hockey Club is extremely excited about a unique opportunity for players to dedicate themselves to a higher level of hockey.
The Midget (93-95) Academy for students in Grade 10-12 is in our third year of operation and the Bantam (1996) Academy is in it's inaugural year for students in Grade 9. Both Preparation Academies will help Rep players and families learn and prepare for a higher level of hockey.

CoquitlamSchool District 43 Hockey Academy-Update Now accepting applications from Charles Best!
We are pleased to announce that we have secured our second block of ice time at Coquitlam enabling us to offer two blocks of board approved hockey academy next September. The ice times are Mon, Wed, and Fri 10:30-11:30am and 12:00-1:00pm & Tues & Thurs 10:30-11:30am and 12:00-1:00pm Off Ice Conditioning
These two academy groups will provide academic credits for the student’s participation. One of the two groups will be upper-ended for the advanced level players.
In addition to the above the hockey academy hosted by Centennial is also available and able to accept students from Charles best.
There have been rumors of the academy being an early morning or before school program, this is not the case the times have been firmed up and integrated within the normal time table and as a result we are getting new registrations.

Inside Edge Summer Hockey Camps - August
We have several half and full day camps that are being run over the month of August at Planet Ice in Coquitlam. Planet Ice is a great facility for us as it offers two sheets of ice, two dry floors and a field within walking distance. The kids in day programs also have the opportunity to eat lunch in the restaurant while watching a movie. This is our 8th year of Summer Camps and instructors have had experience playing in leagues such as Jr B, Jr A, NCAA, ECHL and the AHL. First Week of August
Hockey 1 - Peewee
The All Day Hockey Camps are geared towards all hockey players. The camp offers two ice sessions and two off-ice sessions a day. Players are assisted with their skates and this is a great camp to increase your fitness level.
Second Week of August
Atom Rep - Midget Rep
The High Performance week is for strong rep players*. The camp is a drills and games camp and has a very intense schedule. There are three ice sessions and one off ice session a day. Players are expected to prepare themselves for each ice session on their own.
Third Week of August
Atom - Midget
The Conditioning Camps are geared towards hockey players entering the try-out season. Players have one ice time and one off ice session a day. This camp will have your fitness level up for try-outs.
Fourth Week of August
Hockey 2 - Hockey 4
Half Day and All Day Hockey Camps geared towards all hockey players. The camp offers two ice sessions and two off-ice sessions a day. Players are assisted with their skates and this is a great camp to increase your fitness level.
